Black Friday Madness!

Happy post Black Friday madness. Never have I ever been so glad to be past Thanksgiving and in holiday limbo. While I had a lovely Thanksgiving meal with boyfriend and his family I then scurried off to Fiore where I would be spending the next 10 hours with crazed shoppers looking for deals in the middle of the night.

I have been Black Friday shopping once in my life and I only did it because Old Navy was giving away free cameras (how can you pass that up!?) While prepping the store my friend Jennifer and I decided that people just like being at the mall and other shops in the wee hours of the morning when usually they are asleep, they just like the thought of shopping at a different hour. Here is a little of what the day was like for us......

The night before Thanksgiving a few of us stayed until around 2 am to change out the display windows! I had a lot of fun seeing our ideas come to life but it was so stressful! It is still a work in progress but I love it so far!

This was my Thanksgiving day outfit!
Dress: Fiore "My Story Brand"
Boots: Fiore
Necklace: f21

Around 11:45 pm 15 minutes before the mall was about to open herds of people bolted through the gates, screaming and cheering. It was kind of scary and really crazy!

Here is the result of what happens when Black Friday gets the best of you!
Thankfully my sweet managers stepped in as "momma" and told me what to get to feel better!
I seriously recommend baking soda toothpaste to keep the germs away so you don't get sick in the first place and Emergen-C is like powdered health.

Did you face the crowds for any great deals!? Stay healthy!

Friday Favorites

It has been a very long week and an even longer day! I am so glad that Thanksgiving is around the corner despite the fact that I will be smack in the middle of Black Friday madness. Apartment 32 is just looking forward to a day of relaxation, food and football. With such a crazy week I needed a little pick me up and what better way than sharing some of my favorite things that got me through the week!

1.

One of my favorite things everyday is my job! I work at the most adorable boutique Fiore and I love being surrounded by clothes and bags and jewelry and lovely people everyday. But today I am really loving these two outfits! This Orange Dress is perfect for fall weather and Clemson games and at $28 dollars I had to get one for myself! The preppy Navy and Pink dress is just so adorable! I am really considering this look for my birthday night!? ( I already have the cute bow belt and pearls, so all I need is the dress!)

 2.

Tsunami Sushi is my favorite restaurant. Boyfriend took me here for date night and it was delicious. I am not a fan of "real sushi" (tuna, salmon, anything fishy...) but I love shrimp and the look of the cute little rolls!

3.

Another favorite of mine are these adorable necklaces. At Fiore we are getting inventory in every day and yesterday we scored some gorgeous gold necklaces that read "love," "lucky," and "wish." Then I saw these in the new issue of Glamour magazine!

4.

My favorite thing today was that I finally saw Santa! I am a Christmas fanatic!!!!
I was so happy to see Santa today that I forgot about what a long and blue day it had been!

What are your favorites this week?!
Are you ready for Christmas!?

Wednesday Watch Dilemma

So last week after getting rid of my favorite watch I decided to pick up this Merona watch at Target which was included in my Birthday Wish List post for the great price of $14.99. I have been wearing the watch ever since and the same thing happened that happened with my last watch! I seem to have a strong allergy to nickel and fake metals! So this has lead me on a watch hunt and a major watch dilemma....

This is the Merona Watch from Target.

These are some of the really nice watches that I have been eyeing that are nickel free and really good quality. With all the money I have spent on knockoffs and what have you I could have been wearing one of these all along! To the untrained eye these all look the same, but they are really very different. I've chosen some by Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, Anne Klein, DKNY and Michael Kors. The prices range from $70 to $300 and I just can't chose which I like the best! (decisions, decisions!)
Do you wear a watch? Which one of these is your favorite?
I would love to hear your input so I can make one mine!

Happy Wednesday loves!

Winner!

Hi loves! I have been so busy with work and being an animal mom lately that I haven't had a second to sit down and blog! Last week I started following Jen at Oh Sunnie Day! and she was having a giveaway for her jewelry company Nautical Wheeler! I love when other bloggers do giveaways because even if you don't win you've discovered a new company or brand. So on Facebook I got a message saying that I had WON! I was so so excited because I have never won anything before, I mean never. I got to chose a bracelet and I get to do a giveaway for my followers! As you know my birthday is coming up so keep an eye out for a Nautical Wheeler giveaway then! Here are some of my favorite pieces from Nautical Wheeler and the Bracelet that I chose!

How cute is this!? I chose the Clover Bracelet in Blue and Gold!
I think this piece will go great with some of my arm candy stacks!

I LOVE these earrings! I think I am going to get them for my mom for Christmas.
They are very similar to some of the earrings at Stella & Dot but you can get Silver or Gold which I like since my mom wears more Silver. These little beauties are only $34!

Swoon. These Gold Drop Earrings are perfect for the holidays!

I can't decide if I like these Paisley Indian earrings better than the Gold Drop ones?!

I can't wait to get these Stackable Rings for myself! For one ring it's $12 and they are all handmade hammered silver and so classy! What a perfect gift to myself right?!

Thanks again to Jen at Oh Sunnie Day! for the chance to win and for give you all the chance to win closer to December! Have a happy Sunday!
